Annual Report collaboration

Guiding is a great way of meeting people and making new friends. Guiding in Bedfordshire is no exception to this. Wilstead Brownies in Bedford even managed to invite their whole village to a meeting where they put on a show!

Over the year, we have worked closely with many different organisations including the RNIB, Hearing Dogs for the Death, The Police, Health Authorities, the Fire Service, RNLI and the RSPB.

Such organisations enable us to expand the programme of activities we can offer and encourage new interests and hobbies - like in South Ouse District where the girls adopted some furry friends at Whipsnade Zoo!

One of the highlights of the year for many Guides across the County was when they went to the Guide Associaltion's Big Gig in Wembley. Together with 9,000 other Gudies from across the County they danced away to Louise and Geri Halliwell at a special concert just for the Guide Association p What a way to make new friends!
