The Activity Centre can sleep 24 girls and their leaders. 24 mattresses are provided along with 4 camp beds for leaders. Further leaders should bring their own camp beds or lilos.

The woods have areas for campfires and outdoor cooking.

The main hall / activity room is 124 square meters in size and has electric heaters in all main rooms. Most of the building was re-decorated during 2001.

In addition to the main hall there are two leaders or committee rooms, which can be used as one or two rooms divided by a screen.

The end room can be used to store mattresses during the day.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has recently been re-furbished.

There are Toilets and Showers with one suitable for people with a physical disability. Major refurbishment of the toilet area has recently taken place. This includes a toilet and shower off the leaders' room.

There is a guide shop available which is open on alternate Saturdays, from 10.00am to 12.00 noon. It can be opened for Holidays and Camps by arrangement.

There are local shops within a 10 minute walk.

The Campsites cover a total area of 2 acres which are situated on the edge of 8 acres of woodland. This area has space for 2 campsites.

There are toilets and showers on the site with facilities for people with a physical disability.

Fridge - freezers and a sink are situated in the Camp Store and are available during camps.

We also hire camp equipment and hold enough equipment for two companies, each with 4 patrols and leaders. Further information is available in the brochure, obtainable from the Booking Secretary after which a form can be downloaded.

There are a number of local activities available. These include, nature trails, pioneering, games equipment and a visit to Bromham Water Mill.

Slightly further afield are Bedford Museum, Cecil Higgins Art Gallery, Bunyan Meeting and Museum, Moot Hall at Elstow, containing the history of John Bunyan, Swimming and Leisure facilities.
