Training Co-ordinator
Sophie Dackombe
name: Sophie Dackombe
I would like to introduce myself as the County Training Coordinator; I have been involved in Guiding for the last 9 years (although I was a ranger in the 70's). First and foremost I run 2nd Ampthill Brownies; I am also Ampthill District Commissioner and County Coordinator - membership support (streamline).

As training coordinator I organise all county training. This varies defendant on the needs of the guiders.

County Training weekends - every couple of years we hold a residential training weekend. Where guiders get the chance to learn new skills and ideas, to take back to the units. It is also a great way to meet new people, see new places and eat great food.

County Training Days - these are held every year. The programme does vary but normally will include section training, crafts, outdoor, music, safe from harm sessions.

First Aid courses - these are normally organised at a division level. Please contact me if you
Are holding a course - I will advertise it
Want to attend a course - I will let you know the dates of courses and organise one if needed
