The Trefoil Guild is part of the Guide Association, but has a separate constitution, is independently administered and is financially self-supporting. Membership of the trefoil Guild is open to those men and women who are at least 18 years old and who have been members of the Guide and Scout Associations. Warrant and appointment holders are eligible for Associate Membership.

The Trefoil Guild aims to:

*Keep alive the spirit of the Guide and Scout Promises and Laws

*Carry that spirit into the community in which Trefoil Guild members live and work

*Give practical, moral and financial support to Guiding and Scouting.

The Guild is a self-governing body at all levels and is administered centrally by its own Council and Executive Committee.

Bedfordshire has 11 Trefoil Guilds and a County Guild Chairperson.

The Trefoil Guild will often provide instructors and testers for badges, or offer occasional help with a unit or outings.
